Who are we?
Radio Icewynd is a collection of music brought to you by Unsigned and Independent Artists who are just looking to have some fun and get some airtime that would not otherwise be available to them. Radio Icewynd’s Founders consist of Jeremy Fabiano (Owner), Timothy Clubine (Partner and Operations Manager), Adam Heck (Sales Manager) and Shaun Presley (Radio Host).
Coupled with Tim Windsor (Windsor Promotions) and backed up by Brad Shenneman (Graphic Designer), we strive to present a complete package to up-and-coming artists who will be tomorrow’s music.
What do we do?
Radio Icewynd believes in the Passion of Unsigned and Independent Artists. Unfortunately most beginning Artists are short on funds and can only find a few gigs. Radio Icewynd is committed to helping these Artists get their music heard worldwide. Radio Icewynd also believes in giving just about any Artist a shot to play their music on Radio Icewynd.
How do we do it?
Radio Icewynd is mainly funded through the use of paid advertisement. We know that most people do not want to listen to commercials while listening to their favorite artists but this allows for Radio Icewynd to fund it’s site and not charge the bands or the listeners.
When did we start?
The idea for Radio Icewynd started back in February of 2006 in a conversation between Jeremy Fabiano (Owner) and Shaun (Radio Host) about how the FCC has too many restrictions over the airwaves. The conversation then turned towards how possible would it be to create our own radio station. “Can you do it” Shaun challenged, and thus Radio Icewynd was born. It has since then taken us nearly a half year to put together the resources and to iron out the details that is Radio Icewynd. Our first successful public broadcast over the Internet will occur on August 1, 2006 with the opening of our Rock genre which will soon be followed by Rap, Pop, and Techno.
Why do we do it?
As music entrepreneurs ourselves, Radio Icewynd is committed to giving all music entrepreneurs a chance to prove themselves to the world, something which is denied to many musicians due to the representation (or lack thereof) to the corporate giants that own the airways.
